Corporate Social Responsibility

Chanelle Group understands how much we owe to our community, our customers, our employees, their families, the environments we inhabit and to the societies we serve worldwide.

We see Social Initiatives as an integral component of Corporate Social Responsibility. Our investments in the community have gone beyond the adhoc disbursement of funds and to planned programs in areas of healthcare, education and environment.

We are constantly aware of our position in the community and continue to contribute to its prosperity through financial, charitable and personal support. We are equally devoted to ensuring that our products, employees, facilities and suppliers are following the commitments we have made to socially responsible business practices.

Types of Support:

  • Charitable events
  • Sponsorships

Chanelle Science Scholarship

The Chanelle Science Scholarship was set up in 2013 to encourage students in the local community to engage in science in an exciting and rewarding way.

Every year, students are given the opportunity to submit projects based on various disciplines in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Agricultural Science.

The entries are whittled down to ten finalists who are then evaluated by a panel of judges who have esteemed backgrounds in Chemistry, Pharmacy and Engineering.

The top student from each school wins a prestigious prize fund of €3750 and a crystal trophy to recognise their incredible achievement in science and support them on their journey to third level education.

The Chanelle Science Scholarship has helped generate a fantastic surge of interest in science related subjects among the students in the Loughrea community. We are committed to supporting the initiative and have pledged over €25,000 to the initiative.
