Chanelle donates €5000 to date to Irish Cancer Society with special Tribex® ‘Pink Packs’
Chanelle’s Tribex®10%, liver fluke treatment, recently approved for use in dairy cows has raised €5000 to date for the Irish Cancer Society.
Farmers can support the initiative by purchasing Tribex 10% Pink Pack in their local Co-op, veterinary practice or merchant store where the product is now on sale. Chanelle will donate €5 for every pack sold.
Howard Pearson, Area Sales Manager with Chanelle has expressed his gratitude to Irish farmers for their level of support for Tribex Pink Pack.
” On behalf of Chanelle we would like to thank farmers around the country who have shown incredible support for the pink pack of Tribex® which was launched in October by Minister Simon Coveney. Chanelle are delighted to support a great cause and increase cancer awareness among the rural community.”
Tribex 10% is a product used by farmers to treat liverfluke, a common parasitic disease of both cattle and sheep. The special 7.2 Litre promotion pink pack, recently approved for dairy cows, treats 100 cattle or dairy cows for all three stages of liverfluke.
Matthew Ross, dairy farmer from Co Cork said, “Herd health and quality milk are vital to our winter housing program. I am pleased to be supporting Chanelle with their fundraising for cancer research”.
