Chanelle Launch Rifen (100 mg/ml Ketoprofen)
**Zero Milk Withdrawal for Dairy Cows**
Chanelle Veterinary, Ireland’s leading provider of generic products for animal health, today announced the launch of Rifen (100 mg/ml Ketoprofen).
Rifen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) for use in horses, cattle and swine. It has a wide theraputic index and can be used to treat a broad range of ailments that are associated with pain, inflammation and fever such as lameness, arthritis, musculoskeletal and joint disorders, mastitis, colic, respiratory tract infections and it can be used for post-operative pain management.
Rifen is Ireland’s first ketoprofen authorised for the alleviation of post operative pain in piglets after castration – an exclusive for vets who want to promote immediate pain relief and minimal distress to the animal.
In horses, Rifen can alleviate pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders, colic and surgical procedures.
